Biomedical implant rejection due to micromotion and inflammation around an leads osteolysis eventually has failure because of poor osseointegration. To enhance osseointegration, the surface modification both at nano micro-scale levels is preferred result in enhanced interface between body tissue implant. The present study focuses on Titanium (?+?) ELI medical grade alloy using powder-mixed electric discharge machining (PMEDM). Pulse current, on/off time, various silicon carbide (SiC) powder concentrations are used as input parameters comprehend desired modifications. Powder concentration considered most important factor control roughness recast layer depth. A significant decrease fracture density observed a 20 g/l SiC particles. Elemental mapping analysis confirmed migration Si generation promising texture chemistry. Oxides carbides enriched improved microhardness re-solidified from 320 HV 727 HV. Surface topology reveals nano-porosity (50–200 nm) which enhances osseointegration absorption proteins especially collagen surface.
